Building on Success: Expanding Our Reach Together

Through expanded partnerships with local organizations and the continued support of our generous donors, Georgia Mental Health Access Alliance has made significant strides in bringing mental health access to even more people. In our second year of operations, we've established our second community partnership, furthering our mission to make an immediate and direct impact in the community.

2024: A Year of Greater Impact

GMHAA is excited to announce our new partnership with Lifeworks Counseling Group, a leading for-profit counseling center in the community. This partnership has expanded our reach, enabling our generous donors to directly support community members in need through enhanced mental health scholarship options.

In addition, our collaboration with Lifeworks Counseling Group has allowed us to provide vital mental health services to students at Truth Spring Academy in Columbus, Georgia. Through these efforts, we are continuing to fulfill our mission of making a significant and positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Supporting Students' Mental Health

Poor mental health is an escalating crisis affecting our community, our state, and our nation. If you've never faced mental health struggles, you're fortunate. However, many around you, especially students, may be silently suffering and in need of help and compassion. We aim to eliminate the financial hurdles and red tape that people often face when seeking assistance. Thanks to our new partnership with Lifeworks Counseling Group, we are able to provide immediate financial support to students at Truth Spring Academy in Columbus, Georgia. This ensures they can access the mental health care they need, when they need it most.

From our new partner

Partnering with Georgia Mental Health Access Alliance (GMHAA) has enabled our therapists to serve the underserved of our community with excellent mental health care. It has been our joy to provide professional counseling to students at Truth Spring Academy and, next, Truth Spring Trade School. This opportunity has been made possible by the generous support of GMHAA donors.

How does your platform work? How much should I donate?

Our partners employ licensed, on-site counselors and social workers. We provide our partners access to our innovative aid platform, so financial help is available instantly, at the time of service, if a patient cannot afford care.

On average, if financial assistance is needed, we grant $54 per counseling session through our aid disbursement platform. We have maintained this average throughout our 2023 and 2024 programs.

We track every dollar donated and every dollar spent, so our donors can understand and experience the impact of their generosity in real-time.

Partner with us to create a world where mental health care is accessible to all.
